BE A PERSON THAT LEAVES A MARK INSTEAD OF SCARS ON PEOPLE

A mark and a scar share one quality that they both last long. Nevertheless, many people prefer to keep the mark and get rid of the scars. Unfortunately, the more you try to clear the scars, the more they get more pronounced. Forgiveness can reduce the pain but many believe that the scars still remain. Some people you come close with, leave scars on you that reminds you of the pain they inflicted over you. However, good people are those that leave a mark of their uniqueness that stands out as a trait worth emulating and remembering. It would have been good if everyone left a mark wherever we went, but the painful truth is that many of us have leave scars on many people. My prayer and your prayer must be that God make us leave a mark that will always bear a good witness about us instead of leaving scars that continuously inflict pain upon innocent souls. No wonder Jesus says, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven” (Matt. 5:16 ESV). The devil leaves us with scars while Jesus leaves us with a mark of His righteousness. Emulate Christ instead of the devil. May you have a wonderful weekend and happy Sabbath to you all.
