1. God answers even a very short prayer like the one I had on that day. “God save my life” was the whole prayer I raised to God and He was there instant. Therefore, nobody has an excuse of not knowing how to pray.
2. Life that we live is a borrowed asset that can be called back anytime at the discretion of the owner, God. Therefore, life must be lived to the fullest in the interest of the owner.
3. It is vital all the time to make everything right with God and everyone including your family members. If I had unresolved issues with my wife or somebody, I would have died with unsolved issues and grudges. You loose nothing to make amends with people but you can loose all including eternal life by failing to make things right.
4. Whatever your hand findeth, do it with all your heart knowing tomorrow may not come. This means if God has given me a family and ministry, I have to love my family to the fullest and be fully dedicated to the mission of God 24/7. The major challenge that most of us face is procrastination and postponement of better plans.
5. The important capital that we need when faced with danger is life. Wealth and all treasures can be taken away instantly like it happened to Job in the Bible, but if you have life, everything lost can be replaced.
6. It is a total waste of resources to die without sharing your best knowledge. Smart people leave their knowledge behind by publishing it or entrusting it with others.
God help me live by these principles. I realize it is not easy to live by these guidelines but I am motivated by God’s Word that says “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phillipians 4:13). Happy Sabbath to you all.
Very true. Powerful word of God. We need to live a life filled with Christ always. Paul said to Timothy, a servant of Jesus Christ,
“As for me, to live is Christ and to die is gain” Phillipians 1:21
